This event
will raise money to support the TAY(Transitional Age Youth) program,
which engenders social responsibility and self-determination
through cleaning and greening of parks and public space. Based in the
Western Addition, TAY inspires youth to become environmental ambassadors
within their communities. Brewtruc beer gardens feature craft beer
from the likes of Stone, Magnolia, Anderson Valley, and Lagunitas. A
home-brew hefeweizen throwdown featuring Poplar Brewing, Alliteration Ales,
Charles Francisco Brewery, Wild Wind Brewing, Muddypuddle Brewery, and Muffin
Street Brewing is shaping up to be quite a battle: come pick your
favorite! Food trucks and music to boot.

June 17th
1:00-2:00 Outdoor Concert at Jane Warner Plaza
Sponsored by the Castro CBD, Boogaloo Bahia plays
danceable a mashup of funk, soul, Afro-Cuban, samba, jazz, African, and more.
It's like James Brown meets Miriam Makeba -- in a salsa club. Come dance,
laugh, and sing along as they breathe new life into classic songs (and play
original tunes you'll want to hear again and again)!
Just before the concert begins, at 12:45 we will be kicking off
the Castro Ambassadors Summer 2012 Season with a blessing by the Sister's of
Perpetual Indulgence! Join us and cheer on the Ambassadors!
