San Francisco Median Price of Condominiums close to 2008 values


I was a little bit in disbelief when I saw this graph in the SF Examiner showing that our last quarter sales for condos in District 5 was just a smidgen below (-7%) quarter 1 2008. Could the real estate have bounced back that dramatically already in San Francisco? The data is showing this as true. Limited condo inventory and strong buyer demand have pushed up real estate sold prices to close to values not seen since the peak of the market.
